Seems to me the Ferrofish B4000 has been discussed here before and only got so so reviews. I could be wrong.

Subject: [CWSG] Re: Ferrofish B4000+
I just purchased a new one for 280 Euros plus 42 Euros shipping to OZ. I had just sold my Oberheim OB3^2 for AU$465 and wasn't really looking for another clone. I have a C3/L145/PR40 rig. So why bother? It was a deal too good to refuse. I'll always get my money back. The OB3 has better voicing while the Fish has a better Leslie sim and overdrive. I hooked the Fish to an old organ with midi. Amplification via an old Carvin PA system. Voicing of the Fish is a bit thin and too bright going up the keys. No surprise going through a solid state amp. I would like to hook the Fish to the Leslie 145 one day to hear the difference. But with a bit of tweaking of the tone controls it is sounding quite good. The Leslie sim is convincing at fast - not so good at slow. I prefer clean organ sound so overdrive is not an issue for me. But it does sound a lot better than the white noise coming out of the OB3. If you are a purist - don't buy it. But I bet if used in a live
situation the greater audience could not tell the difference. As they say - why feed strawberries to the #$%@.
Beats dragging old tone wheels and Leslies from gig to gig. The Fish has 80+ adjustable parameters. Plenty of room for tweaking.
Anyway, that's my two cents worth.
