Not so sure. Picture this scenario:

You are the manager of the WInter Gardens (whatever...) You've got this big old Hammond that hasn't been used in years. You know it's got to be worth something, because you still see and hear them, and you know it still works. Besides, there's a recession and you've got bills to pay. You say to the janitor; "Look, Fred - down in the basement we have an old Hammond organ and a speaker. I want you to sell it ASAP. And I want at least five grand for it."

Fred goes down to the basement with a flashlight and looks at the organ and the cab. He wouldn't know a Hammond organ from a mouth-organ, but his boss has told him to sell the darn thing. He writes down a few notes, turns the instrument on, sees the Leslie doing its stuff, accidentally changes speed while fiddling with the half-moon switch, plays "Chopsticks" on it, turns it off, goes back to the office upstairs and logs onto Craigslist.

He has no idea that he he has caused untold hilarity to organists from Tulsa to Timbuktu. He's just doing his job.
