Subject:Re: small video of my Mojo keybed problems
Hi Friends!
"Manuel,
I agree with Bobby on this.. I can understand being annoyed that you have a problem with your new Mojo, but shit happens now and then.. and I'm starting to think that your Mojo took a good bounce during shipping..
I have not heard of anyone having this problem (anyone on this list having this kind of problem with their mojo?). Work with Andrea and Guido on this, you're video illustrates the problem perfectly, and I'm sure they will help you sort out the problem very quickly... and stay positive!!!
Good luck, and keep us posted!
Craig"
Yes Craig, you are right! This can happens to anyone!
I hope the problem is solved quickly. It's been a month since I decided to buy the Mojo and after all this time is a frustration not being able to play it!
Your advice was good, because I loved the sound!. You know what I felt? The nostalgia of the days when I was young and played "Emerson, Lake & Palmer", "Santana", "Yes", "Blood Sweat and Tears" and many others.
Today I play my own tunes with my trio - tenor / soprano sax and drums, with two friends and great musicians! It is a privilege to share the stage with them.
"If it is easy to open the mojo up - try and pull out the offending spring and reset it. Feel the area in the key where the spring sets for any edges.
Lastly you could try the trick with a miniscule amount of silicon based grease."
When you buy an instrument online and it arrives with a defect, no matter what the cause, the problem must be immediately solved , because if you open the aoparelho lose the warranty, right! Anyway, thanks for the hint!
"It sure sounds like a squeeky spring.
But apart from that - I sure sounds sweet."
Yes, no doubt!
"Frederick,
I was going to point out how fantastic the Mojo sounded in that video... And Manuel strikes me as a pretty good player!
Manuel, when you get this problem sorted out, you have to post another video for us, I suspect that we will all enjoy your performance!
Craig"
Thank you for your kindness Craig!
