Absolutely.
Especially if a real Leslie is an option.
Just heard a couple of premixes done on a C1, one with a Leslie, the
other with the internal sim. You can hear the difference but the
result is still quite enjoyable in both cases.
On my part, we're going to record our first album soon (rock, not
jazz, but without guitar and with Hammond quite in the forefront), I
plan to use the same kind of VB3 setup I use habitually live.
