Ya know, I forgot how good my VK-7 sounded through my 145 Leslie. I used to play it through a 10 band graphic EQ, but not so much for the EQ but for the gain boost I got out of it to drive the Leslie directly from the 1/4" output (not the 11pin) to a modded 1/4" input on the 145.

I have not used the VK-7/145 combo in years but now that I think about it, I never really noticed the shrillness then.
