Plan to get a korg nanocontrol to use sliders as drawbars. Will initially use my Yamaha P95 digital piano as keys. Have to think about a small.mixer.

Should fine  - check that there are enough USB ports for the USB devices you plan to use.

Are your referring to the DM1Z?  - it has Win 64 bit and 4gig of ram, unless the netbook has equivalent the extra $75 will be worth it.
