Subject:need help setting up VB3 with VSTHost using Kurz PC3

I've set up VB3 within VSTHost,using my Kurzweil PC3 as the midi keyboard. It's not working..I can't see that I've done or undone anything... Here's what I've set up so far:

on the PC3- I created a setup which I named VB3a- destination- USBMidi; channel 1, MidiProg 1, status Active.

The PC3 is USB connected to my computer, which runs Windows 7.
I am using VSTHost to run VB3

In VSTHost, I have the PC3 as my midi input and output device. For Wave output, I'm using ASIO4ALL.

I start VSTHost, with the VB3 plugin running.
I go to setup VB3a on the PC3. I press a key on the PC3. I move sliders. Nothing happens on the VB3 GUI. No movement, no sound. I click MidiLearn on any of the drawbars. The result of MidiLearn doesn't match the Midi channels that I've set the sliders too.

Basically, VSTHost doesn't seem to be receiving input from the PC3. However, the PC3 is indeed connected to the computer and can run PC3 Sound Editor and make changes in programs and setups.

I must be missing something... but what is it?
