Here’s my take…In my neck of the woods if a band has a keyboard player, I’m thrilled…I’m even more thrilled if I can hear him over the guitars. If he has a really cool wall to wall ten keyboard setup that’s cool too…How about two controllers and a Mac…super cool…I just like to see a band that has a keyboard player…Just my .02

Silly me, but I LIKE looking at it. And, as I said, I drag my songs into the night's order and I have a setlist at the ready.
Also, some of the crazier tune set-ups (especially for that particular band) might have a dozen different software instruments and changing controller assignments scattered across the three boards. It reminds me with a glance where I put them.
