Subject:Re: Triggering Nord C1 Bass Pedals

Here are some organists, for your respectful consideration, to check out: Steve Winwood, Lee Michaels and Skip Van Knape.

They're all "rock and blues" oriented and so should appeal to the majority of the memembers. These guys are the full package....organists!(Jazzers have been omitted, as have loungers, from this brief list.) Winwood is still active and playing plenty of pedals......check it out on YouTube, where you'll also find Skip wailing under "Teegarden and Van Winkle." Organ and drums, a la Skip and Lee are amazing to behold.

WRT Brian Auger; he's my main influence and the organ player from whom I copped the most licks, learned the most about harmony, modes, comping for my right hand soloing, etc....but playing pedals....nada. He's always worked with bass players.

I hope you enjoy the recommendations....heel and toe, heel and toe,

Nipper
