One of GSI's strongest features is that the all packages sound great and being largely algorithm based (the VB3 manual does make mention of samples for some features) do not need a large amount of RAM or disk space. Also if and when an upgrade comes out you do not have sell your old board and shell out $2k plus to get the enhancements.

I bought GSI's Key Performer and installed it on an Asus netbook and it
rocks!!!
I also installed VB3 on my main music laptop...So I thought hell why not
install it on the netbook and it works great!!! Sounds great even through
the 1/8" headphone jack!!! No other audio interface!!! I could gig with the
netbook and my PCR800 both in a gig bag!!! That's just way to slick!!! I
like VB3 so well the Nord Electro 2 is going up for sale...Anyone interested
in a 61 key Nord Electro 2 newest O/S, ATA road case, and Ocean Beach
drawbars hit me off list. It's been very very well taken care of!!!
