Subject:Re: Stereo Keyboard Amps (Was: Something new)

I'm with Gary and Bruce on this.. I run my keys in stereo, through two QSC K10's and have for a long time. I pan my leslie sim hard left/right, through my QSC's, but have them sitting directly behind me... to my ears this emphasizes the stereo leslie effect nicely.. At the same time I would not pan the sim hard right and left if I'm going through the FOH PA.. I would probably have them panned middle and left, or something like that, because panning them hard right/left across the full stage doesn't sound realistic to me.  A leslie should sound like it's "over there" not panning back and forth across a wide stage. To my ears panning hard left/right through the FOH PA does NOT sound real.

Running stereo live can have a lot of advantage. Not in the hard pan R-L sense as Bruce says but
it definitely has its use.
