As one who questioned the stubborness at which Nord held on to their
light bars, you have to give them credit for listening to reason
regarding the new "bars." I think that the market has now seen many new
players in this niche who have stuck with the tried and true for the
bar pulls. It may be a while before the new Nord sees some action.
Perhaps had it entered the clone market with the real shape bars, it
might be ahead of the game by now. But as the saying goes, better late
than never.

What will allow Nord or any board maker to rise above the rest is the
reliability factor in the field of use.

A pity they did not place it so I can "play" the drawbars with my left
hand while playing the meys with my right. I've always wondered why
clonewheel suppliers don't look to what Korg did 25 years ago...
