Different strokes for different folks. I rewrote two of the VB3 presets, only occasionally use them, have my Bb preset set to nearly full bars, and mostly ride my drawbars for the B/percussion set. Keep in mind, I can only get to those other reverse key presets when I'm sending the VB3 to the 88 anyway - which I am doing more and more. I really wish the VB3 had a velocity-to-volume option like the NI B4, I'd use it sometimes. I even have one patch with the two engines triggering together and the B4 set for full velocity, louder percussion and some more drawbar. When I smack 'em real hard it's a big sound with changing character, when I play more civilly it's pure VB3. Yeah I know, that's a bit 'off the reservation', but that's what I like. I can't see not doing something only because I'm not supposed to be able to.
