Subject:Re:Mojo - Latency in general
A friend of mine and I did a non scientific test.
We used my laptop with VB3 and a Safire usb soundcard feeding a Leslie
Nord C1 as controller
Latency at the lowest setting - crackling noises starting to be heard
He played his C1 for while using C1 direct to the Leslie and then switched to VB3- he felt the latency for a while - then he got used to it.
My conclusion is that if the latency is low enough you adjust.
But you feel for a short period moving from at faster resonding system to a slightly slower responding.
Big latency's - you mind does not adjust - you can of course accept it but you will still be aware of it.
Comments welcome.
