I own this stand and use it with the second tier accessory. In my constant search for the Holy Grail of keyboard stands, it is by far the best quality support system I've have ever owned(up to this point!). It's extremely lightweight and the build quality is excellent.Initially, I had some reservations about the scissor support in the front,as I have an SKB pedal board and was concerned about it interfering with my use of my pedals, but once I got it set up and began to use it, it has completely become a non-issue.

As with many of us, how the second tier places our upper board ergonomically is always of great importance. This stand puts my Electro 3 roughly 5 inches above my Kurzweil PC3K8, with the front edge of the E3 almost direcly above the back of the keybed of my PC3. Access to the starship-like interface of the PC3 was of great concern, but I have enough access to all its buttons, sliders and knobs. Because of the way this stand is designed, you can move the bottom board closer to you and it still offers superb support with nary any wobble of sway. Highly recommended and worth the premium price it commands.
