That is odd since there are guys over on the Hammond list putting the vent on actual B3 and c3 consoles.
Could you post some A/B samples. I wonder if there is some sort of chorus going on with the Mojo? I know
if you use the stop position without the Leslie sim completely disengaged the Vent doesn’t sound right. I did that
accidently when I first got the vent. Hey, whatever works, that’s the way to go…but it’d still strange…..

I can weigh in on this subject as well. I borrowed a Ventilator from a friend and tried it with the Mojo. I agree with Hal...something about the combination just doesn't do the trick. The Mojo with it's internal simulation is a more pleasing package. No GAS for the Vent.

Yeap. But it isn't the Mojo it is the HC with same sound engine as Mojo. (exact).
This is subjective and as more numbers of the instrument go out an objective consensus could develop BUT I like the internal sim of the 'Mojo' (HC) slightly better than the V. You can be assured also Guido owns a V to compare and tweak-compare.
Used 2 K12s. The internal sim was better matched not to effect the clean scanner tone with colorizations AND like I said you can split the horns to lower rotor to 2 cabinets. Some may choose not to do it that way obviously, YMMV. The rotor sim seems matched better to the specific VB3-2 than the general-use V (that is very excellent). There are limitations on the internal sim such as ramping.
