Subject:Some of your Kurzweil KB3 questions answered!
I asked Dave Weiser, who is in R&D at Kurzweil USA, to respond to some of the questions that have been asked about the KB3 emulations and PC3 pricing etc.
He said that the PC3 KB3 samples on the Kurzweil site are outdated and will be updated soon, and asks that people use the following links to hear these KB3 sounds which reflect the latest OS updates.

This video offers a very good aural comparison of the PC3 with the new Leslie emulations in comparison a with real B3. Which sounds better? What do you think? The B3 of course. But the PC3 does sound quite good, if a little bit bright, but this may have more do with the fact that it's going direct, while the b3 is going through a Leslie,

This concern clip of a cover band has the PC3 player showing off a Santana-style sound.
As for pricing, he's not plugged into what the retailers are charging, but he said that some vendors are selling the PC361 (the 61-key version of the PC3) for blowout prices and that B-stock PC3s are a very good value these days.
Hope this helps a little.
