I had a similar problem on my NE3 about six months ago. In my case,
though, it was happening on an octave or so of keys in the midrange. It
was happening occasionally for several days, long enough for me to make
an MP3 of the noise and send it to Pablo. We were going to arrange a
repair, but it stopped -- completely. I'm still crossing my fingers,
six months and dozens of gigs later. A loose connection somewhere, maybe?
