Phil, not sure what you were listening to can you provide the links? If its a side by side comparison video then it may be a fair observation. But if they are separate videos then it might not be fair if they weren't recorded using the same equipment. Please provide th link if you can.

As an owner of the Mojo and a C2 with the C2D OS installed I do think that the Mojo sounds better in a number or areas which result in the Mojo sounding more authentic overall to my ears. That said the difference between these two may simply be a matter of taste. I think that I was able to get a better Jon Lord sound with the C2 but the Mojo is warmer and richer sounding. I like the percussion much better on the Mojo (don't like the C2D percussion, it's not as good as it was in the original C2). I think the Nord C2 has better midi controller functionality.

So there are pluses and minuses to both, but when it comes to basic warm rich hammond sound I do think I prefer the Mojo.
