Yeah but no but..I just happened to have a measuring tape sitting here and was bored so here goes. That 17" (I make it 17 1/2") includes the bottom of the music rack which you would cover over with the digital piano that is sitting on top, as you can reach the start/run switches from underneath the piano.  There is 2 1/2" of wood that you can cover up so a piano on top of B3 will only be 15" back (that's 380mm as opposed to 445mm in old money)...Having wasted my breath on all this you can probably do the same with the Mojo?
