I have an SK-1 and I haven't especially noticed noise problems with the
piano voices. While I find that some the piano voices sound pretty nice
(I like the acoustic), they're kind rudimentary - 2 velocity levels with
pretty obvious changes between them, no pedal down sound with the
acoustic piano, etc. Some of them sound pretty good. You might find
them completely usable - try it out...
