That does sound quite useful. So do you mean you can midi up one of the manuals to an external midi module. Very cool.

That's kinda what I'm doing with the lower slave midi manual I have midied into my axiom61. One difference is, I have the midi output of the slave manual (it's quite dumb, just outputs midi note on/off and velocity on channel 1) "passively switched" to three possible destinations: Axiom61,Nanosynth,and KurzMicroPiano. It's primitive but amazingly, it works.
