Rafael,

The keyboardist is David Sancious he’s a well known sideman playing for Clapton, Sting, Peter Gabriel and I believe he got his start with Bruce Springsteen. His rig is driven by a Peavey DPM C8 MIDI Master controller perhaps the best most well designed MIDI controller ever(I’m not the only one that thinks so) heavier than hell but it’s loaded with features, he’s using a breath controller into the DPMC8 and if I remember correctly he was driving some kind of Yamaha module not sure which one, the drawbars are Voce and he uses them to control B4 if you can catch it on his LCD monitor on the floor next to him. He was also a big fan of the Kawai K5000r module at the time…Awesome player all the way around, he takes over the B3 from Billy Preston(which says a lot in itself) when Billy plays piano. He also plays some guitar in this concert on “Layla”…Great stuff!!!

Cheers,

Brian In Ohio

Hi Everyone,

Eric Clapton - Over The Rainbow - Los Angeles 2001

Just doubting about what's drawbar set seen at

3:48

IIRC At the time (2001) were only EMU, HAMMOND and VOCE (not B4D or VK-8M)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=261C_JC8ftY

BTW, seems that keyboard player is also blowing something capturing MIDI signal , isn't it ?

Hints about rig are appreciated.

Best

Rafael
