Why don't you try it both ways--Stage/SP/Vent and Stage/Vent/Neo and see how
they compare? It would be interested to get your impressions?

I would think that Stage/SP/Vent chain would be better since adjusting the
SP's knobs might produce better distortion than the Vent's limited
distortion capability, which isn't all that gnarly. Getting the pure 'tone'
to a point you like with the Stage and SP and then adding the Vent effect at
the end before you go to a PA or speaker. After all, with a typical Hammond,
wouldn't the Leslie itself be the last thing in the chain?
