It depends on your preference. It is probably a bit heavy for some, but I really like it for Pianos and EP's since I am a heavier player anyway. It also has 4? different touch profiles, unlike the regular E3, increasing the touch flexibility somewhat. Actually, I use it on some songs where I want the 2 manual (split) organ feel and with the shallow triggering option it plays OK, but not if you want to do Jimmy Smith "Machine Gun" type solos.
