I think this is a very old piece of gear. It is not in the same class of the modern clones. I think everything from the XK-3
forward sound great although we constantly nit-pick at certain aspects of each model old or new. It has now become
a personal subjective choice and not a "right or wrong" one.

Hard to say from the small sample, guess it would sound a lot better trough a Ventilator.
