Amen on the asinine..actually, my first rubegoldberg solution involved a
rubber bulb, plastic tubing, and a turkey baster part (accordion folded
plastic bulb from an irrigation syringe that would expand - its amazing the
stuff you can find when you work in a hospital)). I attached it with stout
rubber bands to the VK8M, when I stepped on the rubber bulb the folded bulb
would push the big button on the unit and switch the leslie. However, I got
tired of the derision from my bandmates, and it was a PITA to setup each
time.

Im hoping Ken comes up with a more intellectually elegant MIDI solution....
