Chuch, the light version of Studio One that comes with a Presonus audio/midi interface DOES NOT support VSTs.. This is one of the reasons that I don't recommend the Presonus interfaces.. (the light version of every other DAW does support VST).

However, the good news is that for a small fee you can upgrade to the version that does support VST's.

If you're using Presonus, and a light version of Studio One, VB3 will not work, and that's not a VB3 problem it's a Presonus problem.
Furthermore, some VST instruments written to run standalone and some are not.
