I thought the strings were lacking too. Is there no string ensemble to give the effect of massed stings?

I agree on the Wurly sounds, not great... but that's not the only Extra Voice that is bad..
In contrast here's an SK1 demo that came up when I finished listening to the first demo.. it's a regular guy playing the new chamber strings in isolation, and it's 4 minutes and 37 seconds of the worst sounding strings I've heard in the last 10 years..

There are two different kinds of demos.. one that is designed to "sell" and one that is designed to "inform". Clearly the first demo was one of those "designed to sell" demos... make it sound as good as you can (perhaps even better than it really is) by finding a great player and putting them together with some great ensemble players, and never hold a note for too long otherwise we'll hear how the sound lacks tone and character.
I think that most of the discerning members of this forum recognize the difference between a demo that is designed to sell an instrument and a demo that is designed to inform.
Unfortunately I think HS should stick with demos that are designed to sell, because when you hear the reality of the extra voices on the SK series, it's probaby going to have the opposite effect.
