Subject:OT Mainstage/pedal question

Does anyone on the list that uses Mainstage know how to disable the volume pedal when using the pianos?
I'm using an E3-73 and controlling MS from that board. I'm only using the pianos in MS.
Since the volume and sustain pedals are hooked up to run through the Nord and control MS the pedal controls ALL volume.
I plunked around in MS and can't seem to find anyway to disable everything BUT the sustain pedal when using pianos only.
Also, the Leslie noise comes through the speaker even when I don't have VB3 open in the window. I went to the VB3 set-up and muted it so now that's gone but it seems like some of the functions I do or don't want to use are crossing over onto other patches.
