I think the second option is what I want. However, the audio-out from the laptop (earphone jack, which includes all VSTi's loaded in Cantabile, is going directly to my amp. Not sure how I would do a separate audio out for the PC3- some type of junction box?

I also noticed no difference between VB3 and VB3fx.
