Bob,
I found my teenage son who some years ago heard classic rock on his
video games, started getting interested in guitar mainly because he
liked the songs. When I showed him a few chords to the songs on guitar
he was blown away and it connected the dots for him. You are right,
young listeners are discovering the classics and for all intents, these
old rockers will be Mozart of the future. Glad we were around to see it
happen.

I know you have seen many of the greats perform live out there in SD
and LA when they were the "in" thing. What a wealth of experiences. I
really wished I could see Jimi live as you have.

So all you young guys out there, go see as many old guys as you can
because it won't happen this way again for a long time. There's still a
lot to learn from them even in their twilight years if you're
imaginative enough to perceive it.

Gf

What I've found (Playing Classic Rock) is that more times than not we
get
a lot of positive attention from the younger set. Check out the crowds
at
the Stones, Who, and Floyd concerts. Plenty of younger folks. Most
are
realizing it's not just nostalgia, it's kick ass music. I have plenty
of folks
I played with in the day form or get into "Blue's"" groups thinking
they
are now too old to be doing rock. If that's their attitude then they
are
right. Myself, I'm gonna keep on rocking "til Keef picks me up on his
way to
heaven in the Magic Bus! Maybe me and him died, (or should have) a long
time
ago. We just refuse to fall down. ORF Bob
