Yes I use the PCR-800 to control VB3 in my studio..
 
I just use the "B" control Map and it works perfectly for me.. drawbars are mapped perfectly, the buttons are all mapped to Chorus/vibrato off/on etc..  These control maps are already built in, and you can tweak them I believe (although I haven't tried doing this)..  the control Maps are numbered 1 to 9 then A to F, if I'm not mistaken. so all you have to do is select control maps and then just dial up to B..  In the documentation I think it's referred to as the B4 preset, and it was written for Native Instruments B4.. but it works perfect with VB3.
 
Hopefully you'll get this working and you can continue to giver her hell!!

Hey Craig,

Don’t you use a Roland/Edirol PCR-800 to control VB3? I think I mentioned
that over the Christmas holiday Guitar Center had a pair on closeout and I
bought one. I’m still having issues setting up a preset on it that remembers
the settings. Got any pointers? Or should I be saving the settings within
VB3? Of course you guys smoke me when it comes to playing but I give her
hell anyways…I’m still thinking about using it out live with a netbook…Maybe
this year…
