One day that will hapen…Slowly, that's sure, but it will happen.
Already the 1.4 leslie 147 emulation was added last year and it blows away the old ones, hopefully other enhancements will find their way into 1.5 and future versions. Right now I don't think the new version is ready to replace the old one: it's great for "real" clones but it still misses a lot of the features that 1.4 has.
