The long loops for some players is a brain crusher. Mostly those used
to the real thing. Ham-Suz was warned about using long loops by an
American adviser they had taken on board years ago, but in Gung Ho
fashion they did not listen. Symptoms of long loops is constant drawbar
tweaking on the fly, trying to get a comfortable stable sound. The
brain is trying to right the sound its hearing, not realizing the
grating effects of the long loop.

Yes, for absolute realism long samples are the way to go,
