Perfectly said, I wrote that it offers only piano sounds - simulation
of acoustic piano, upright piano, Hammerclavier, and extravagant
virtual non-existing variations. But who knows - it's possible one
day Roland will come with more models in some of future updates...

I think it would be possible to program sound of Yamaha Electric
Grand CP series, with the help of internal EQ and other parameters. I
own CP80, so I didn't need to program its sound on V-piano, but now I
want to try it.

I would add that V-piano is also for people who want a keyboard
action pretty well simulating real piano.
