They both sounded good.Those simple little passages with chords and some
high soloing drives me crazy!!! LOVE IT MAN LOVE IT!!!



The one thing I noticed and you may laugh is that the Vent almost seemed to
have more motion/movement compared to the 145.Not bad because they both
sounded great just a little different. I think the Vent had a little more
balls not as clean.I believe that you mentioned that already anyway just my
.02.YMMV

Hi all

Did some tracking for a project and ran the A100 both through mics and
the Vent. The demos are here for your erudition:

The Vent has a little overdrive which doesn't help in this case.
Immediately after tracking I thought the Vent was not really sounding
all that great, but a day later and I'm having trouble telling them
apart. I think pulling back on the upper mids eq on the Vent track
during mixdown might have clarified the top end to closer approximate
the 145 sound.

Just adding info to our general pool of knowledge.
