Subject:Re: New Nord drawbar organ glimpse
The idea looks like what I envisioned long time ago for "the ideal portable Hammond clone" (so far the Mojo was the only keyboard that almost got it), i've no problems with slidrrs instead of drawbars and surely having two sets for each manual will help.
I'm a bit dubious about the controls (never found myself at home with clavia's ones, these new ones surely looks confusing as well at first glance, but one can surely get used to them).
I wonder what that LCD is there for…presets? Non-organ patches? Also, I can't see buttons to quickly switch to a preset or different patch.
I wonder also how the keyboard will be: the threes Clavias I played til now felt a lot worse than my current Mojo setup…But that can actually be said for some "real" Hammond that had a difficult past, perhaps I was just unlucky.
But the real point is the sound, of course. Will that sound better than VB3?
