Has anyone had a laptop stolen from their live rig at a gig recently?.

I would have thought the iPads and iPhones have replaced laptops as desirable items for thieves. e.g. I absent mindedly left my 12 month old Nokia sitting on a bench in a large inner city park one morning last year (bit like Central Park with 90% less people and no patrolling police/rangers). When I realised I had lost it 20 mins later after I had left the parkand went searching for it I found it had been handed in to security at a large Public Hospital over the road from the park.

5 years ago it would been gonski.

Those I have plenty of. If you need one that bad, just ask me - I'm good that way. But here's a lot of blood, sweat and programming, not to mention my heart and soul, residing in my MacBook Pro.
