Subject:Re: Nord Drawbar/sliders

In the beginning when USB wasn't available connection was using DB15 connector (for game-joystick) unless in the PC world.

Usually it came with a so called game-board to be put it in a separate slot.

So every MIDI unit needed an interface cable from DIN MIDI output connector to a DB15 connector on the PC side.

Nowadays mostly modules/keyboards have DIN MIDI sockets along with newer USB connectivity.

Hope that helps.

I do have a midi controller the problem is the cpu to use to
connect with it. How would I interface it into a PC? Is there a specific
connector for MIDI to PC? This is where I'm out of the loop on these.
