When I think of smooth bars, I would imagine like a Vox organ might have (correct me if not).its been a while since I've played a Jaguar or the like.

Maybe what is called smooth is just the way the tones come out (without dead spots?) Its a '59 alright, but there are detentes to the pulls and the tones sort of "click" into sound but there are no dead spots.

So is smooth bars only because there are no dead spots? Yet they still have a click feel to them?
