Yeah there are dead spots if you look for them. Trick is to do it fast enough so you don't notice them. Played a track at my studio on my '59 B3 the other night. never bothered me nor the music tracks. And before that using the 8M on tracks, same thing. Perhaps in a situation playing just the organ and deliberately trying to get smooth bar type response you will be bothered by ratchets, but for the majority of players, they won't be that picky.
