Subject:Davey Jones

Farewell to Davey Jones... the Monkees first came on TV just at the same
time I decided (along with 80% of the other 13 year old boys in the
world) that I wanted to figure out how to play that music stuff. I
always watched the show and checked out the guitars and amps and tried
to figure out exactly what they were doing. Of course it turns out they
really weren't doing much of anything as they lip-synced, but they were
great songs and I loved it. I gotta admit that even today I like Davey
Jones' voice and love it when I hear one of songs he sang on the radio!
