I should add...that was almost 40 years ago & we didn't have today's technology.
In the original posting Dave mentions he's also a guitar player- so I guess it's more a question of priorities for him: Guitar Amp that he can also use with the CX-3 or more suitable keyboard amp that may not work with his guitar. And...the type of sound/music he wants to play.
If its mostly 60's-80's rock, then the guitar amp would likely be fine.
