which is not what most of us want.
Agreed. Two days ago I replaced my Fender guitar amp with 1x12" speaker I as my home amplifier with a KB amp with an inexpensive keyboard amp with a 15" speaker and horn. I did this as I noticed when playing through a PA that there there were subtle but noticable undersirable artifacts in some of the VST settings I was using. When setting these up at home I hadn't heard these through the guitar amp because the colouration and limited grequency response of the guitar amp masked them. I can sure hear these artifcats and more through the KB amp now and low synth notes are reproduced at domestic volumes without any distortion,
Simple test to hear the extent of colouration, play a CD quality track through your home stereo in mono and then through your guitar or keyboard amp of choice.
Cheers
Mark
