Cal

My sentiments exactly   and it appears we have mostly the same setup  ...NE3 w/Vent   & W/ DB-1 Drawbars
into a QSC K12...an i love it ..with the exception of unweighted keys for piano ...

I tried the NE3 73 with a Ventilator for almost a year on stage and still
couldn't get over the acoustic piano feel / playability. That was the deal
breaker for me.
I LOVED everything else about it. With the Vent, the organ was awesome and
I had the DB1 drawbars.I have never owned or played a NE 2.

For Mike..

"I think right now i am checking out the Kurzweil PC3 to see if that could
be an upgrade for me from NE3 to Kurz PC3. but still I think i would have
the unweighted /weighted keys dilemma
as i have now ...cause i dislike playing organ on weighted keys ...and
dislike playing acc piano on unweighted keys .lol"

I recently got a PC3 and the key action on that thing for me is a very good
"in between" piano / organ action. After playing it a few moments, the keys
felt much better for me on the acoustic and electric pianos and
whilst playing organ, it still allowed me to "be free" and gliss around ,
up and down, to my heart's content. Fatar did a nice job on the TP8 as it's
action is VERY playable with pianos and organ , IMHO.

Peace, Cal
