I had a couple of ARP Odysseys that would go out of tune whenever the air conditioning in those big auditoriums would kick in....forget playing outside when it was too cold....or hot... or on an unstable generator...etc.

34 years ago I played with rock group at one university camp in
Prague, those times I have used Hohner Clavinet, Hohner Strings and
Yamaha SY-2 analog preset synth. Since the beginning I couldn't make
synth to play properly, it became totally crazy, out of tune and not
usable. Somehow I played synth parts on the other instruments, very
unhappy as it was my first synth, brought from abroad, and in my
homeland behind the iron curtain it was very difficult to repair it (I
knew there were custom blocks for VCO, VCF... inside) - those times no
Yamaha distributor or authorized service center. Next day gig at the
other place - synth was quite OK, and since then there was never any
problem with it.

Later I have realized there was a radio broadcast tower near that
place, and this disabled the synth.
