There are lots of good samples out there. I am looking forward to checking out the Streetly samples (the only ones you can discuss on the Mellotron
forum without being attacked...but I digress :) ). One of my favorites are the two Emu Vintage Keys modules I have. They are old 12 bit samples but
make great Mellotrons. You can pick them up on eBay for around $250 and they have other great samples as well. I think the low resolution actually
helps especially with the Mellotron sounds.

I have those as well. They sound perfect to my ears. I like mixing them in with traditional orchestral software strings, which I started doing after hearing it (near as I could tell) done on a Hollies tune I was working on.
