Try EV ZXA1's- about the size of a studio monitor, pretty detailed, but able to handle almost any gog- especially if you have 2 in stereo. Of course the QSC k series has been lauded pretty heavily also

These look interestingly inexpensive but really a 2000W output? They got one good review here: http://www.amazon.com/Technical-Pro-Stage12U-Powered-Speaker/dp/B003ZLASFS but are these another "ya get what you paid for" deals?

If you can find these used they sound good with keyboards and does okay
for mixing depending on your room acoustics. Guitar Center used these
in their keyboard rooms as monitors as well:
