Hear hear - well put.
The last part about all the strange artifacts in the Hammond sound is
interesting.
What i do on my C2 is turn up the leakege to max. Keyclick to max. And in
the leslie the organ comes alive.
Turn on the clean TG model = dead organ.
I am amazed at the fact that a the big hammonds A B BC BV E D RT3 C3
actually is nothing but a large collection of technical errors, that when
combined sounds so great.

The click for instance. If you listen to the click (on and off) in the raw
signal of a B3 it is not that charming. But when it has passed the speakers
in a leslie with all it combfiltering and doppler effects it has
transformed itself into a "Chiff" sound that is extremely pleasant and can
we very loud without being obnoxious.
This is one area where many clones fail. The tonal quality of the click. My
old hammond Bx3 has a horrible note off plopp,

The leakage that ought to be annoying - and can be if you have a low note
leakage into a high note - but the general shimmer of all the notes
simmering in the background of a chord 808 000 000 just brings tings to
life.
